The 2013 NFL Playoff schedule gets started on January 5th, 2013 just 6 days after the final 2012 NFL regular season wraps up on December 30th, 2013. The 2013 NFL Divisional Playoffs will be played on January 12th and 13th with Super Bowl XLVII scheduled to take place on February 3rd, 2013. This year’s Super Bowl will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana and will be broadcast on CBS. Similar to past seasons, the 2013 NFL playoff seedings and resulting scheduled will be determined by divisional champion records, and the records of the other teams qualifying for the playoffs. After each round of the playoffs, the NFL reseeds teams based on which teams win or lose. The conferences (AFC and NFC) will alternate play on the same day earlier in the playoffs.

Mercedez-Benz Superdome
The Mercedes-Benz Superdome is the regular season home of the New Orleans Saints, the Allstate Sugar Bowl, the New Orleans Bow, and the Tulane Green Wave. Every fourth year, the facility hosts the BCS National Championship (as we currently sit pre-NCAA playoff decision). The Superdome is one of the few indoor facilities in the United States that are capable of hosting both the Super Bowl and the NCAA Final Four. It is the largest fixed dome structure in the world and has previously hosted the NFL’s Super Bowl in 1978, 1981, 1986, 1990, 1997, and 2002.
