I’m very pleased that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for one thing relating to this.

Its such as you read my thoughts! You appear to understand so much about this, such as you wrote the guide in it or something. I believe that you just could do with some percent to force the message house a bit, but other than that, that is magnificent blog. A great read. I will certainly be back.
Wow, wonderful blog structure! How lengthy have you been blogging for? you make blogging look easy. The total look of your site is wonderful, as well as the content!
I thought only two wildcard teams form each conference got to the playoffs, but you have four. What gives?
Hey Ron,
It will make more sense as the teams set set. For each conference, there are 4 divisional winners and 2 x wildcard teams. The 3rd and 4th ranked divisional winners each play wildcard teams. The winner of each of these games play one of the top two ranked divisional winners.
Since I can’t guarantee what day that each of the teams or pairings will happen at this point, I do not break out the labels further. Will do so as more information is confirmed by the NFL.
They’re only 2 wild cards from each conference..they in turn, play the 2 lowest seeded division winners..that’s the 4 you see listed!
I am planning on going to the Divisional Championship on Jan 14 or 15 in Green Bay. Will the Pack play on Sunday for sure? Or is there a chance they will play on Sat.
George,
Unfortunately, until the NFL releases the final Playoff seedings and schedule, we can’t say 100% that they will not play on Saturday. As soon as we have the updates available, will update the schedule to reflect for you.
Do you know for certain that the games you have listed will be played on those dates? For example, are you certain the AFC Division Winner #2 will be playing Sun Jan 15 as opposed to Sat Jan 14?
There are only 2 wildcard teams. You list it is wildcard #1 vs wildcard #4. There are only 2 so there would not be a wildcard #4 or #3. It is division winners 1-4 which are playoff teams 1-4 and wildcard winners, of wich there are 2, that are playoff teams #5 and #6. Playoff teams 1 and 2 have byes and the rest play. #3 vs #6 and #4 vs # 5. The lowest remaining seed plays the #1 team and the other plays #2. Your information is wrong and your explanation is misleading. It is made to look like 8 teams make the playoffs. It looks like teams 1-4 have byes week 1 of the playoffs and they do not. Only #1 and #2 have byes.
@Sean, sorry the layout was confusing for you. Totally agree than when taken out of context of the full article below the Playoff Picture rankings it could come across that way. With the results coming in, schedule modified to reflect the current schedules/matchups. Before we used the Wildcard round seeding 1-4 which consisted of the two divisional winners and two wildcard teams. Thanks again for helping explain for others who may have been confused!
That would be a big help for me, too. I am waiting for the final dates also.
